There is a new generation of artists emerging: a new breed of musicians who are breaking one of the toughest industries in the world by uniquely forging their own paths online.

In recent years, platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram have provided a space for a plethora of global musicians who might have gone under the radar before to get their sounds heard and their records received by millions worldwide.

But now, more than ever, any genre and any instrument can find an audience. Music entertainment is entering a new age. And our incredible VIRTUOSOS are at the forefront of the movement.

The Virtuosos Artists provide an insight into the self-made musicians who have found global fandom online and are now on the cusp of taking the world by storm “in real life”. We follow them as they overcome seemingly insurmountable barriers – in both their personal and professional lives – to bring their music to even bigger international audiences.

In 1997, he started YourMobile (now Moviso) – the world’s first ringtone company. He is known as “the father of the ringtone”. He is also an executive board member and global juror for the World Summit Awards.

Rick is one of the most experienced heads in music. He has been International Vice President at both Arista Records US and EMI Europe. He masterminded the international launch of Whitney Houston and has worked closely with global legends …

… such as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney to superstars of today including Andrea Bocelli, Paloma Faith, Ricky Martin and Emeli Sand . As a songwriter, he has written for Andrea Bocelli’s recent worldwide number one album, Si, and he has put together enduring sports anthems such as “Three Lions” for the Football Association (FA) and Swing Low for the Rugby Football Union (RFU). In 1991, he founded The Music & Media Partnership (TMMP), which brings together the music industry with media and commercial partners.
