At the world’s most important & biggest Dance Music Industry & DJ event, which happens in Amsterdam each year, ADE Pro/Buma held their annual “10 Companies To Watch” contest to find the best new company creating the most innovative platform & opportunity for the global music industry. ADE looks for cool projects in the fields of tech, data, hardware & software that can make a genuine difference to the future of music & entertainment industries world-wide. An initiative of “Buma Meets Tech” this Buma initiative is a hugely popular part of ADE, attracting many entries from start-ups all over Europe & the world. In a glittering final in the DeLaMar Theatre, 10 finalist companies presented to moderators Ralph Simon chief executive of Mobilium Global, Bart Hufen the MD & Founder of BrandNew Game NL & the 3 contest judges: Amy Sorokas, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Microsoft Brand Studios; John Acquaviva, co-founder of Plus8Equity & start-up guru, & Carly Renwarin, Marketing head of Paradiso Netherlands. The 2017 winner: Muzooka – the outstanding ADE Pro winner for 2017 repped by Shawn Wilson, Founder & CEO & Doug Nyhoff, Executive Chairman & Chief Operating Officer of Calgary, Canada’s Muzooka.
